Summary
The July 1953 issue of KK Correspondence, No. 10, continues the publication’s distinctive role as a semi-private forum linking Kitan Club readers, special members, contributors, and enthusiasts of bondage, sadism, masochism, fetishism, and other forms of abnormal sexuality. Its contents mix polemical essays, practical discussions of erotic restraint, photographic criticism, member correspondence, editorial commentary, administrative regulations, and reports on the parent magazine. As in the preceding issue, the bulletin’s identity is strongly participatory: readers do not merely consume material but argue over terminology, assess photographs and illustrations, propose new features, and communicate directly with one another through the club structure.
