Summary
The surviving February 1961 Fuzoku Kitan material is dominated by an unusually extensive bondage-photography section, preceded by a formal contents page that reveals a much broader editorial program of sadomasochistic fiction, cross-dressing confession, homosexuality, masochism, erotic illustration, and reader-oriented features. The photographic material explores restraint as both erotic spectacle and visual composition, moving between clothed and nude models, interiors and outdoor settings, and increasingly elaborate arrangements of rope, furniture, trees, poles, and architectural space.

Highlights
- Aware, Bound Sorrow opens the gravure section with Nishimaki Eriko restrained in a patterned dress, using progressive disrobing, upper-body rope, and shifting kneeling and reclining poses to establish the issue's visual language. (PDF pp. 2–4).
- Shigarazuya and The Sadness of the Uniform place Kazahaya Yumiko in a sailor-style school uniform and bind her on an outdoor wooden structure, combining costume fetishism with public or semi-public captivity imagery. (PDF pp. 5–6).
- Rope Biting the Breasts centers on a fuller-bodied model crouching outdoors while rope crosses and compresses the upper torso, making the interaction between rope and anatomy the explicit subject of the feature. (PDF pp. 7–8).
- Rope-Writhing Poses presents a gagged and bound woman on tatami, emphasizing physical struggle through tightly folded floor poses and multiple bands of restraint. (PDF pp. 9–10).
- Captive Nude Form combines kneeling, reclining, gagged, and ankle-bound positions in a Japanese interior, shifting the gravure from suggestive partial dress toward nearly complete nudity. (PDF pp. 11–12).
- Outdoor Bound Woman places a nude restrained model between large tree trunks, using the dark vertical forms of the trees to frame and partially conceal the body. (PDF pp. 13–14).
- Crucifixion Binding documents a standing spread-eagle restraint using horizontal poles at the wrists and ankles, with successive photographs showing additional rope added around the torso and legs. (PDF pp. 15–16).
- Before the Round Window uses a large piece of sculptural driftwood or root wood as a heavy visual prop beside the bound model, creating one of the issue's most theatrical interior compositions. (PDF pp. 17–18).
- Hallway Outrage presents a woman bound on a wooden corridor or veranda, contrasting sparse architectural lines with torso and limb restraint. (PDF pp. 19–20).
- Ravishing Full-Nude Binding closes the surviving gravure with a series of kneeling nude poses in which rope encircles the upper arms and chest while the model twists against the restraint. (PDF p. 21).
