Ochiai Ryūji Photo Collection I

落合竜二写真集Ⅰ
Creator
Yoji Muku
Language
Japanese

Ochiai Ryūji Photo Collection I is a black-and-white photographic bondage album issued under Yoji Muku’s pseudonym Ochiai Ryūji. The volume presents an extended visual study of women bound in seated, kneeling, reclining, standing, and chair-bound positions, frequently combining photographic sequences with small line drawings that reproduce or interpret particular poses. Its images emphasize practical variations in wrist and ankle restraint, torso binding, gags, posture, and the shaping of the bound body. The album documents an early phase of Muku’s engagement with bondage photography and the photographic source material that would also inform his later drawings.

Research notes

The independent Nawa-Art archive identifies this work specifically as 落合竜二写真集Ⅰ and states that Ochiai Ryūji Photo Collections I and II were apparently later combined and issued as 緊縛の肌 by 譚奇会. It further states that the separately circulated volumes had plain black covers, were distributed by mail order, and must predate the 1971 publication of 緊縛の肌, but it does not establish a precise publication year for Volume I. SMpedia identifies 落合竜二 (Ochiai Ryūji) as one of the pseudonyms of 椋陽児 (Yoji Muku), notes that Muku worked as an artist, writer, and editor, and records his own recollection that he had produced photographic collections. It also independently states that volumes I and II of the Ochiai Ryūji photo collection were combined as 緊縛の肌. The supplied 72-page scan consists predominantly of bondage photographs interspersed with line drawings and short Japanese captions. Because neither the scan nor the cited sources securely establishes the original publisher or exact publication year of Volume I itself, those fields are left null.
