Kita Reiko’s 1952 Album is an illustrated collection centered on bondage, restraint, erotic torment, and female vulnerability. Produced during the formative period of postwar Japanese SM publishing, the album preserves an early visual vocabulary of bondage and eroticized restraint that would become increasingly important in later kinbaku and SM magazines.
