The Difference Between Having a Rope and Not Having a Rope
2008.7.28 濡木痴夢男のおしゃべり芝居 第四十九回 Nureki Chimuo’s Talking Theater Chapter 49 縄ナシ、縄アリの差 The difference between having a rope and not having a rope I am meeting with Masako Inoue in Company C’s reception room Masako Inoue is said to have an entire body that is a sex zone. Generally speaking, you could say that women are all erogenous zones from head to toe. If there are women who are not like that, it means their minds and bodies are still undeveloped, immature, or incomplete. Masako Inoue claims her erogenous zones are fully developed. I say things like that myself, and the manager who is accompanying her says them too. This manager is a thirty year old man. How is it that he, a man, knows the female body and mind that feels sexual pleasure as if it were his own? Eventually, he would give me specific details about her pleasure. He’s a cheerful, interesting manager. For me, he’s easy to work with. I should note here that Masako Inoue is a pseudonym. I have no idea what kind of “personal information” might jump out from within this text of mine. To avoid any trouble, I’ll remain anonymous. I am extremely afraid of causing trouble for women.
I know several women who suffered misfortune due to “personal information” that spread irresponsibly with embellishments, though it had no direct connection to me. I sincerely hope that every woman who has ever crossed paths with me in the workplace finds happiness. I dislike hearing about misfortune. Masako Inoue has a round, chubby face, so she looks only twenty-five or twenty-six. But she’s forty-three. She’s what you’d call a mature woman. Women who claim to be all-over erogenous zones are young. They’re vibrant. This forty-three-year-old is far too young. Women who say things like “sex is dirty and disgusting” or “I hate men” are, as far as I know, not young. Both their hearts and bodies are withered. Even though they’re only twenty-five or twenty-six, they lack vitality and look over forty. In the reception room are Masako Inoue and her manager, along with Director Y, who is shooting an adult video starring Masako Inoue this time, and assistant director W. She has appeared in over twenty standard adult videos to date, but this is her first time doing “SM.” In other words, she’s never once been tied up with the rope before. A woman with no SM experience has come for an “interview” at the reception room of Company C, renowned in that particular field. You’d expect her to show at least some nervousness or even a hint of “fear” in her expression or demeanor. Yet she never stops smiling, never once showing a shred of unease. I imagine all the filming sets she’s experienced so far have been kind and had a good atmosphere. “She says having sex with male actors is so much fun she can’t get enough of it,” the manager says. She nodded with a smile. There is absolutely no sign of him trying to curry favor with Director Y or myself, or putting on a show of charm. Truly, she seems to be enjoying herself from the bottom of her heart.
Simply put, a woman over forty having sex with a man much younger than herself every time they shoot, it can’t be anything but fun. Having sex means getting along with a man. It’s only natural that getting along is enjoyable. “Let’s try tying her up a bit, huh, Nureki-san?” Director Y said. Director Y is actually the president of this video production and sales company. In other words, he is the most powerful person. “Bring me my red bag,” I tell Assistant Director W. Inside my red bag, there are always over twenty ropes. They’ve been left in a corner of this company’s production department for over a decade. Several years ago, it was stolen once by someone. Every single rope vanished. The red bag I have here is the second one. It has “Nureki Nawa” written large across its belly. With that, no one will take it. W-kun brought that red bag. “Take some pictures for reference. I’ll tie you up slowly so it’s easier to shoot,” I asked W-kun. W-kun immediately brought out a small video camera and got ready to film. I took the rope out of my bag, made Masako Inoue, who had been sitting on the sofa, stand up, and turned her around to face away from me. I twisted both her arms behind her back. I tied her hands behind her back over her thin blouse. “She says she’s flexible, so maybe she can do the back-hand prayer pose?” Director Y said. This director has always liked this pose (yes, Director Y and I have known each other for a long time). Not only does he enjoy having a woman’s hands clasped behind her back, but he also takes pleasure in binding her arms behind her in an extreme manner.
“No, I’ve got a bit too much meat on my shoulders and arms, so putting my hands together behind my back is impossible. When people say ‘flexible body,’ they probably mean my lower body, don’t you think?” Despite being bound for the first time, she accepted the ropes with ease, showing little tension in either her mind or body. It was so casual it was almost a letdown. She’s still smiling cheerfully. Somehow it puts me in a happy mood, and I find myself smiling cheerfully too. I conclude that a mood of masochism or tragic beauty would be beyond her. Then, all that’s left is to compete with eroticism. The eroticism of ropes. Exactly what I desire. I focus my attention in that direction. “I want to see your tits. Get naked from the waist up,” I said. “It’s so embarrassing to undress in front of everyone in a parlor like this!” she said. “That’s so nice. It’s been ages since I heard a model say something is embarrassing,” I said, and everyone laughed. The atmosphere grew increasingly warm and friendly. Her breasts possessed the fullness and firmness of a woman in her twenties. They were breasts that had never borne children. If she didn’t say she was forty-three, the shape of her breasts could easily pass for those of a woman in her late twenties. I tied her hands behind her back again. I bound her breasts to make them stand out. Her nipples hardened and pointed. “Can you feel your nipples?” I asked. “Yes, I can feel them,” she answered honestly.
I got carried away. When a woman responds to me so readily, I get carried away. Responding honestly means the other person understands my heart and is expressing their willingness to respond truthfully to my desires. When the other person silently turns away, I think they must dislike it, and I no longer want to touch that woman. (Among the models who come along with their managers just for the money, you sometimes find ones like this.) I try not to do things that others dislike. I am timid. Even if I do things that the other person dislikes, in my case, it doesn’t bring me pleasure. (Some people only derive pleasure from doing things that others dislike. Those are the ones who are truly sadists. I’m just the one who ties them up.) I want to enjoy life with someone who wants to be tied by me. When the other person shows an unhappy face, I become unhappy too. I lose my motivation. Even when motivation wanes, the hands and fingers holding the rope keep moving. If you don’t move, the filming won’t end. I won’t get paid until the filming is finished. Though it was her first time being tied up, Masako Inoue seemed like she’d accept anything. The rope digging into her slightly plump upper body didn’t look too bad either. I touched her nipple with my finger. She immediately shuddered and let out a low cry. Her reaction was sensitive. Of course, it is not a reaction of disgust, but a convulsion of pleasure. “How does it feel to be tied up like this and have your nipples rubbed?” I asked, observing her expression.
To check the degree of her body’s convulsions, I grasped her shoulder with my left hand and continued kneading her breast with the fingertips of my right hand. “Tell me, how does it feel? Hey, hey, how does it feel?” I asked again and again. Even without being restrained, this woman would undoubtedly show a clear reaction just from having her breasts and nipples pinched by a man’s hands like this. I wanted to know how that reaction would change when a rope was added to it. As someone who handles ropes, it was something I had to know. If you’re one of those “important” people like a “rope master” or a “trainer,” you probably don’t need to know such trivial things (I say this with sarcasm). But as the “restraint technician” receiving appropriate compensation, this was something I had to experience and recognize, a crucial matter. If there’s no difference between “no ropes” and “with ropes,” I cannot accept payment as the “restraint technician.” “This is the first time you’ve ever been tied up, right? Tell me how you feel right now.” I pressed on, still persistent. I had a gut feeling that this woman would answer honestly. I pressed my fingertips firmly, kneading her nipple hard, urging her to respond. “Yes, yes, my hands… tied behind my back… I can’t resist… I can’t escape… somehow… somehow… I feel so… so…” Speaking in broken, gasping breaths, she collapsed onto the sofa. Her manager, who was thirty years old, hurried over to the sofa and peered at her complexion. “She came. Actually, she has already come five or six times since earlier. This is her seventh time. By the seventh, her legs gave out. But it’s okay. She’ll be back to normal soon.” The manager reported this while gauging the expressions on mine and Director Y’s face. “The fifth or sixth time? You can tell just by watching from the sidelines?” I asked. In such cases, I tend to be skeptical.
(Could it be that this model’s “selling point” is that she immediately “comes” when something is done to her by a man’s hands?) That is the suspicion. It’s a bit mean. (Perhaps this woman’s age of forty-three is also a lie. Since the “mature woman boom” seems to still be going strong, she might be riding that wave.) I make this even more spiteful deduction. I’ve been in this industry far too long. “Yes, I understand. Observing models’ expressions is my job, after all. She reached her seventh climax just now, and as she approached the eighth, her mind went completely blank.” The manager answered with confidence. He’s an interesting guy. This kind of guy is easier to work with than a manager who’s always scowling and looking grumpy (and surprisingly, there are quite a few of that type.) But if the chatting goes too far, (doesn’t this manager always have sex with this model?) people will start to wonder.. Well, come to think of it (or even without thinking about it), no matter what kind of personal relationship the manager and model might have, as long as the model gives it their all on the shoot, that’s all that matters. That’s all we ask for. Models and those on the shoot, are, after all, bound by a fleeting encounter. Director Y, sprawled out on the sofa and starting to drink a can of beer, called out to me. “Nureki-san, since we’re at it, how about we try a breast cross-tie?” “Ah, let’s give it a try.” I say, delighted. Director Y’s words, “How about we try a breast cross-tie?” make me happy. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard such a suggestion come from the director’s mouth. Neither the current director nor the bondage photographer gives any instructions on how to tie or the shape of the ropes. They think all “restraints” are the same. He thinks it’s enough for ropes to be wrapped around a woman’s body. And finally, I think they should do the “spread-eagle bondage.”
They are unaware that behind the act of “bondage,” rope fetishism lurks with intense breathlessness. Even if the photographer spreads the model’s thighs wide enough to split them and forces a foreign object inside, you’d be dead wrong to think bondage enthusiasts would get excited by such a normal (let me deliberately call it normal) spectacle. What kind of reaction would Masako Inoue show if you applied a breast cross-tie to her? To answer Director Y’s question, I untied the ropes binding her. Then, from that red bag, I took out three strands of the ultra-fine rope for that purpose. The following comments were submitted by Mika Suzume-san. We are reprinting them with her permission. Expressions from these comments are quoted in the next installment, Chapter 50. Mika Suzume-san’s Comment Sensei, it’s Mika. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the new “Talking Theater” this time as well. And as usual, I’ll be so bold as to share my thoughts in the comments again. “It has “Nureki Nawa” written large across its belly With that, no one will take it.” “Sensei, if that’s the case, even more people will want to take it.” Was I the only one who blurted out that comment, I wonder? I thought that’s what the readers of the “Talking Theater” would think, you know. Why do I think so? Well, though you may not realize it, the name “Nureki Chimuo” is a major brand among those who practice bondage. I imagine you’d say, “Eh… really?” upon hearing that, but it’s true, you see. The rope inside the bag labeled “Nureki Nawa” is the kind that tickles the fancy of certain collectors, you know.
The jute rope costing a dozen or so yen per meter has been transformed into something possessing a certain value simply because you happened to possess it. Even women’s underwear can become incredibly valuable if it’s worn by famous idols or the like, even myself, who doesn’t share that particular interest, knows that. For enthusiasts, objects have that kind of significance. Therefore, for those who feel a fetishism toward rope, I don’t think my wicked speculation to believe that a well used “Nureki Nawa” could be sufficient motive for theft. “If there’s no difference between ‘no ropes’ and ‘with ropes,’ I cannot accept payment as the ‘restraint technician.’” It’s a showdown between the “restraint technician” and the “mature woman with sensitive skin all over her body,” isn’t it? Can ropes grant new sensations to mature woman Masako, who claims her erotic potential has been fully developed? This is an interesting development, isn’t it? From my experience, being tied up with rope seems to heighten sexual sensation, but I wonder how it is for others. Will the breast cross-tie bring Masako a pleasure she’s never experienced before? I think that what S-type people who enjoy bondage find most gratifying is when, after finishing the bondage and untying the ropes, the M-type woman tells them, “That was my first time experiencing such pleasure…” “The are unaware that behind the act of ‘bondage,’ Rope fetishism lurks with intense breathlessness.” Simply tying someone up doesn’t make it SM. It is only when the rope holds meaning that it becomes SM.
I interpreted it that way. This might sound like a drag queen’s rant, but I feel like there’s too much meaninglessness in rope in SM these days. While some ropes are neatly and carefully tied, others lack any sense of being properly secured, appearing to be hastily and carelessly wrapped around. When I see bondage that doesn’t feel the slightest bit like the “rope fetishism” you speak of, it makes me feel both sad and angry. But would I protest? No, I hate doing such vulgar things. From that kind of SM, I just quietly slip away. Rope, the meaning of bondage. Putting it into words makes it a very difficult task, but at a glance, you can tell whether it’s dead rope or rope that’s alive and part of SM. Once again, I got so excited I ended up writing a long comment. But as long as you allow me to do so, I intend to keep writing, however boldly. Thank you, Mika-san. Please feel free to share your thoughts and impressions after reading it.
